WHAT TO EXPECT IN A BREATHWORK SESSION?
‘The Guided Breath’ journey leads you back into your body, helping you to feel and create a deep connection with yourself.
My approach is to meet you where you are on that path.
Following our initial discovery chat and you completing the Client Intake Form, we will delve into your past experiences, understand your current circumstances, and explore the challenges you face.
From there, we will work together and create a plan of action to support you in living life to the fullest.
Each session is designed to match your pace, comfort, and individual needs, allowing you to explore and release stored emotions and trauma in your own time.
In a 75 minute Biodynamic Breathwork session, you can expect a combination of deep connected conscious breath, bodywork, and emotional processing techniques to guide you through breathing patterns to access the tension and emotions stored in your body.
The session typically starts seated but you may choose to transition to lie down comfortably or stand up through the session.
You are guided through deep connected conscious breathing patterns to access different layers of tension and emotions stored in the body and consensual physical touch may be used to move this energy.
Throughout the session, you may experience sensations of tingling, warmth, or emotional release as the breathwork helps to access and be present with stored tension and emotions.
My approach to breathwork is rooted in a somatic method that emphasises titration and pendulation, helping clients gradually and gently expand their window of tolerance to life’s events. I focus on creating a sense of safety within the body, ensuring that the process is gentle and minimises the risk of re-traumatisation. It’s a slow, nurturing journey individually designed to support healing at a comfortable pace.
Most people feel relaxed, grounded, and centred after a session.
